Terms of use of the Lexedit application
These Terms of Service set out the rules for using the Lexedit application, made available by TUUL UG with its registered office in Germany.
1. General information
The administrator and provider of the Lexedit application is:

These Terms define the rights and obligations of users and the rules for using the Lexedit application.
Use of the Lexedit application constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
2. Nature of the service
Lexedit is an IT tool that supports work with documents, in particular:
• analysis of document content, • data anonymisation, • comparison of document versions, • suggestions for changes and editorial recommendations.
Lexedit does not provide legal services, legal advice or legal opinions.
Any suggestions, recommendations or results generated by the application are for guidance only and must be verified by the user in each case.
AI suggests, the user decides.
3. User responsibility
The user is fully responsible for:
• the content of documents uploaded to the application, • how the results obtained using Lexedit are used, • compliance of document processing with applicable law.
The user undertakes not to use the Lexedit application in a manner contrary to law or good practice.
4. Artificial intelligence and limitation of liability
Lexedit uses tools based on artificial intelligence that may generate inaccurate, incomplete or outdated results.
TUUL does not guarantee: • the substantive correctness of results, • the completeness of analyses, • that suggestions comply with the current state of the law.
TUUL is not liable for decisions made by the user on the basis of results generated by Lexedit.
5. User data and documents
The user retains all rights to documents uploaded to the Lexedit application.
User documents: • are not used to train artificial intelligence models, • are processed solely for the purpose of providing the application’s functionality.
Depending on the application configuration, some processing may take place locally on the user’s device.
6. Availability and security
TUUL exercises due diligence to ensure the continuity of the Lexedit application but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.
TUUL reserves the right to temporarily suspend the service, in particular for development or maintenance of the application.
7. TUUL liability
TUUL’s liability to the user is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
TUUL is not liable for: • lost profits, • indirect damage, • interruption of the user’s business.
8. Copyright
All rights to the Lexedit application, including its code, interface and documentation, belong to TUUL.
The user does not acquire any copyright or licence other than the right to use the application in accordance with these Terms.
9. Changes to the Terms
TUUL reserves the right to amend these Terms.
The current version of the Terms is published on the service.
Continued use of the application after any change to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by German law.
Any disputes arising from the use of the Lexedit application shall be resolved by the competent courts of general jurisdiction.
